Juan Ramón Jiménez (December 24, 1881 – May 29, 1958) was a Spanish poet. He was natural around Moguer, near Huelva in the Andalusia region of Southern Spain. He mass produced the area far-famed by using his prose poem just about a writer & his donkey, known as Platero y Yo (1914). He was the prolific poet & wrote many xii books. One of his first contributions to modern poetry was a idea of "poesia pura," or pure poetry. He was an opponent of the regime of Francisco Franco and fled to Puerto Rico in 1939. He received a Nobel Prize in Literature in 1956.

Biography
Innate within Moguer, Jiménez deliberate law, which he declined to put to apply. His father's dying affected him deeply & the sequent depression sent him to a mental institution in France. He so returned to the Sanatorio de El Rosario in Madrid. He was opposed to Francisco Franco's dictatorship & was so exiled by having his married woman Zenobia to Cuba, the U.S.A. and Puerto Rico. He received a Nobel Prize in Literature the same month his married woman died of breast cancer, & died ii years late.
